The sewer install was completed today, after three days of digging and digging and digging. But flushing at the tiny house is once again legal! If only it had a toilet…

Apparently the sewer was a bit deeper than they expected, so Day 2 required more digging. We’re guessing that trench was a good 12 feet deep!

But we’re hooked up and ready to move forward with the building permit and the rest of construction!

As you can see, we’ve got a bit of yard work to do, lol. That massive and half-dead tree is gone – but so is half the retaining wall. It’s all work we’d planned to do, it’s just that the schedule got a little jumbled for us.

Next up: getting the power reconnected, clearing away the tree, and shopping for siding supplies. Cha-ching!
