Nearing the Finish Line

We are so close to wrapping up the tiny house, and she is looking good!

In the last month, we’ve gotten all the flooring in and doors hung. The vanity top – which was cracked in half when we opened the box – has also been replaced.

The shower is so sleek
I love the black and white theme here

We’re in the midst of adding all the trim work. I never would have guessed that a small house will still require close to 100 pieces of trim, lol.

The main bedroom and en suite feel spacious yet cozy

Perhaps the biggest change is the kitchen counters – and they are awesome!

And all the cabinets are up!

We’re down to punch-list items and final design choices. My favorite part. 😁

But, because one house project isn’t enough (one project house?…), we get the fun of remodeling at home, too, after a frozen pipe burst on Christmas.

Surprise for Christmas! And such a mess

The pipe is in the ceiling and runs along an exterior wall – a recipe for disaster. But at least it missed the fish tank!

We’ve mostly settled on replacement carpet and tile after looking at over a dozen different samples. Never a dull moment around here. 😉
